Rajpal – Nag Champa

I received 5 sticks of Rajpal – Nag Champa from my friend Silver from India. Here you can read her review.
On Rajpal’s website, Nag Champa is listed under the category Premium Natural Masala. They are sold through Amazon.in, where 50g cost ₹120, or 250g cost ₹510, which converts to about €1.30 and €5.60, respectively.
I also found an offer on eBay for 2x 50g at €16.43, with ‘free’ shipping from India.
If you know of any other sources in Germany or Europe, please let me know.

This is a nice Nag Champa. I find that the scent is noticeably oil-based, which I do not consider negative in this case. It gives the fragrance a lot of clarity; however, it’s not particularly complex.
It’s a very typical Nag Champa scent, lushly floral, sweetish, and slightly tart. I occasionally detect a hint of a waxy note, which I often find in Nag Champa incense sticks. In the case of Rajpal – Nag Champa, it blends with a similarly subtle freshness that reminds me of cosmetic products.
The scent feels rounded and balanced. The sticks have a vibrant fragrance of moderate strength. Very fresh sticks are probably more potent.

I find Rajpal – Nag Champa to be a yummy, pleasant Nag Champa, which you can easily have burning in the background. They aren’t distinctive enough to capture and hold attention, but it’s simply a beautiful scent for the background.
