Kamini – Goddess

This is another pack from my last order at Ephra World, from the end of 2022. The pack cost €1.65 and contains 15g, which in this case corresponded to 16 sticks. Unlike the other Kamini variety that I ordered at that time (Silk Road), Goddess is actually Masala.

Kamini – Goddess Among the sticks in this pack was an extra thick one, whose bamboo core wasn’t dyed at all. However, it smelled the same as the others.

Goddess is sweet but has an interesting tart, almost bitter smell that surprisingly reminds me of Shoyeido‘s Emerald. When I think of Emerald, I immediately start to smell fennel.
The sweetness is vanilla-like and intense. It forms a good counterbalance to the tart aspect and mixes with a spicy, cinnamon-like sharpness and the woody base.
Additionally, I find the scent musky. Depending on the dilution of the smell, it can be very soft and powdery, while in higher concentrations, the spicy notes gradually take over.

Not a scent for every day, but definitely interesting.
