Monsoon Incense – Summer Bouquet
This pack was part of a generous selection of samples sent to me by Eugene Andrushchenko, owner of the brands Bhagwan and Monsoon Incense, in mid-2024. At that time, the brand was still called Good Incense.
A 15g pack contains approximately 12 sticks and costs €2.50, which comes to €0.21 per stick. They are 8″ (about 20.5cm) long and burn for 40–45 minutes.

Summer Bouquet is floral but has a distinct fruitiness. The scent is also very sweet and creamy, and this combination strongly reminds me of bubblegum or chewy sweets like Maoam.
Especially in the first few minutes, I notice a slightly piercing note in the scent; an indolic aspect of the floral aroma, which is balanced quite well by the rest of the composition.
Because of this, it has a certain similarity to one or more varieties of the Pushkar Temple sticks, though I didn’t particularly like those overall. Summer Bouquet doesn’t really suit my taste either, but unlike many Pushkar varieties, I don’t find it obtrusive.
Mike mentions Summer Bouquet in one of his ORS reviews (quite far down in the text).
