Bhagwan – Ocean Flower
I got this sample in mid-2024 from Eugene Andrushchenko, the owner of Bhagwan Incense.
A pack of 15g is available for €3.95 and should contain about 7 of the 9″ long sticks; that makes approximately €0.66 per stick.

The raw scent of these sticks reminds me strongly of various Axe brand shower gels, which has put me off trying Ocean Flower for quite a while.
Lit, though, Ocean Flower thankfully smell substantially different and no longer like shower gel; it’s no longer a soapy fragrance, but it still does have similarity to some men’s deodorants, although the smell has a floral component.
The fragrance is aquatic, accompanied by quite a pronounced woodiness that on some days has a slightly coniferous character for me.
Beyond that, I find a certain similarity to some scents of the oudh type; especially those that have a strongly cologne-like character.
I find a slightly spicy freshness that vaguely reminds me of clove; perhaps it steams from a combination of the woody component and something from the bouquet of tropical flowers that Eugene mentions in his very poetic description.
Eugene writes of honey, vanilla and tonka notes; whilst I do find sweetness in the composition, I couldn’t put a name to it.
Ocean Flower absolutely don’t suit my taste, but I still consider the fragrance well-made and interesting, especially for people who like perfume-like scents in incense.
I have a pack of these + a sample pack, and the sticks are completely different to the ones in your pic. Mine look machine rolled, with a light brown powder dusting with purple dyed sticks! yours look more like a Vedic Vaani masala..
