Shroff – Raja Yoga
This pack was a gift from my friend Silver from India. She sent me a remarkably generous parcel at the beginning of 2024.
In addition, I had previously received one sample stick from Padma Store.
The renowned Padma Store is currently the only source I know for Raja Yoga in Germany. A pack of 50g costs €8.95; estimated by weight, that should be about 28 sticks.
The burning time is given as 70 minutes.
Furthermore, the Swiss shop Räucherwelt.ch sells 25g packs for 5.90 CHF.

The fragrance of Raja Yoga is particularly complex and multi-layered. It is composed of a multitude of floral notes, accompanied by a woody tone and a couple of rather dark, green facets.
I also find a mild musk aspect, as well as an ambery and sweet warmth.
Occasionally, I perceive a tart or even slightly bitter smell that seems to be primarily caused by too high a concentration of the fragrance. When diluted properly, it dissolves into a dark green tone that’s accompanied by a deep amber note.
The florals appear bright, fresh and playful. I recognise a slight similarity to Orange Blossom; furthermore, flowers like lilies and lily of the valley come to mind.
Raja Yoga strikes me like a painting by Claude Monet: a blurry but vibrant impression of a lush, wild landscape with patches of radiant blossoms and some shaded areas.
