A pack of these Dry Masala incense sticks costs between 4-5 €. It contains 10 sticks, weighing approximately 10g and measuring 20cm in length. The burn time is about 35 minutes.

Ingredients: Santalum album (sandalwood)

I bought Sandelholz [Sandalwood] along with the other varieties second-hand. The previous owner seems to have liked Sandelholz, since there were only two sticks left in the pack. However, I can’t really appreciate them.
I can barely detect a sandalwood aroma. It’s a very faint, soft, slightly sweet note that I catch only occasionally. Overall, the sticks emit a not very strong wood smoke scent. It’s not unpleasant, but in my opinion, it’s a bit dull. Those who appreciate light, unobtrusive, and natural wood scents might be better off with Japanese incense sticks.
