Holy Smokes – Feng Shui Line – Liebe

I bought this roll of Liebe [love] along with some others from this line on Kleinanzeigen. Some of the packages still had a label with the original price of €4.20. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find out where they were bought. I haven’t seen them anywhere else at such a low price. Usually, a pack of the Feng Shui line costs between 5 and 7 euros. There is 20g in a roll, but there’d be plenty of space for more.

Ingredients: Jasmine, rose petals, lavender, patchouli

The dominant ingredient in these dry masala sticks is by far the jasmine. It’s the jasmine scent you know from jasmine tea: a bright, dry floral scent with a slightly green note, which is probably further accentuated here by the patchouli. I also detect a hint of the bready smell in the sticks that I know from burning dried jasmine flowers. However, I don’t find it unpleasant in this case; rather, it underscores the naturalness of the scent.
As for the other mentioned ingredients, the impression is blurred. I suspect that the rose petals contribute a little to the sweetness and softness of the scent. Occasionally, I think I catch a slightly herbaceous note of the lavender, which merges with the bready jasmine scent.
Liebe smell quite strong but not overwhelming.

If you’re looking for naturally smelling jasmine incense sticks whose scent isn’t solely based on oils, Liebe is definitely worth a try.
