Auroshikha – First – Sandal

This incense stick comes from Sascha (owner of Indiaroma.de), who sent me a surprise package with samples from his private collection some time ago (which, coincidentally, almost all can also be found in his shop).
Auroshikha – First – Sandal costs €3.95 at Indiaroma, but they are also available in other shops at similar prices. A pack contains 15 sticks, which comes to €0.26 per stick.

First Sandal has a relatively dark, tart scent that reminds me of aftershave containing oakmoss. I even detect a slightly earthy tone and a salty note, which, in combination with the tart moss scent, creates an association with seaweed.
I had to search hard for an actual sandalwood scent. Only occasionally do I think I catch a hint of it.

For people who like this kind of tart, aftershave-like scent, First Sandal might be suitable, but they’re not my thing.
