Milo’s Temple – Coconut

Milo’s Temple is a brand based in England that probably sources its sticks from Ramakrishna’s or from their source. At any rate, they have a clear ‘Goa incense character’.

I don’t even know how to describe how dreadful I find these sticks. The raw scent is soapy and coconutty, but less sweet than you’d expect. Instead, there’s a note I can only describe as ‘spoilt’. I once had the misfortune of getting a spoilt coconut. When I broke it open, I found the inside mouldy and the flesh decomposing into a slimy mass. The smell was disgusting and unfortunately close to what Milo’s Temple offers me here.

I dared to light the stick briefly, but I couldn’t bear it for long. The burning stick smells just like the cold throw suggests, only more potent and mixed with a generic incense stick character.

Milo’s Temple – Coconut belong to the worst incense sticks I’ve ever had the misfortune of smelling. I can hardly wait to bin it.
