Pema of Tibet – Faircense – Rosengeranie
You can find the main article about the Faircense line here.
A pack of these Dry Masala incense sticks costs 4-5€, containing 10 sticks, which weigh about 10g and are 20cm long. The burning time is given as approx. 35 minutes.
According to a PDF on Faircense‘s website, Rosengeranie [Rose Geranium] contains Pelargonium graveolens.
Rosengeranie was an unexpectedly pleasant surprise out of this line and has become one of my favourites.
The scent is soft in a waxy way. Together with a benzoin-like sweetness, this is the first thing I notice after lighting a stick.
This is accompanied by a sparkling, slightly lemony freshness that I know from my lemon-scented geranium plant, followed by the rosy fragrance from which “Rose Geranium” gets its name.
In some ways, I’m reminded of Tiaré by Aromandise, whose natural scent is similarly sparkling-floral and accompanied by a waxy note. However, Rosengeranie smells less complex.
Rose Geranium is a pleasant, unobtrusive summer fragrance with a natural character.
